About CSV exports
- Files are UTF-8 encoded with a byte-order mark so Excel displays accented characters correctly.
- Values containing commas, quotes or line breaks are quoted according to the CSV standard (RFC 4180).
- For your protection, text values starting with
=,+,-or@are prefixed with an apostrophe so spreadsheet programs do not execute them as formulas. Negative numbers are not affected.
Exports are generated in your browser from the results on screen; nothing is sent to a third party.
